Pay review · Salary benchmarking

Go into your pay review with real data

Most people walk into a pay review with nothing but a feeling. Employers know this — and they rely on it. A single page showing current market rates, pulled from live job listings, changes that conversation.

Search your role below. Enter your salary. Generate a market evidence report you can save as a PDF and take to your manager.

What the report includes

Market average & range

The current average advertised salary for your role and location, plus the full range from the lowest to highest active listings.

Comparable live listings

A table of up to 10 active vacancies on Reed.co.uk — job title, employer name, and the advertised salary range for each.

Your salary position

Enter your current salary to see exactly how far above or below the market you are — with a pound figure and percentage.

Saves as a proper PDF

One click to print — your browser saves it as a clean PDF. No account, no email, no watermarks. Just a document worth handing over.

How it works

  1. 1

    Search your role and location

Type your job title and the city or region you work in. The site pulls live listings from Reed.co.uk and calculates the current market average.

  2. 2

    Enter your current salary

Use the “Compare my salary” option on the results page to see where you sit relative to the market — how much above or below, as a figure and a percentage.

  3. 3

    Generate your evidence report

Click “Generate pay review report” to open a print-ready document. Hit “Print / Save as PDF” and you have a clean, professional PDF showing the market data and comparable listings.

Salary data is sourced from live job listings on Reed.co.uk — not self-reported surveys. Averages are calculated from the midpoint of each advertised salary range, based on a minimum of 10 active listings, and updated hourly. Reports are generated in real time and reflect the market at the moment they are created. Full methodology →
